Hot on the heels of news of another limited-edition Shelby, the performance company has released a ‘Bold Edition’, available on the 2020 Ford Shelby Super Snake. The run, limited to just thirty vehicles for the American market, celebrates three wild colors offered on Shelby cars from the 1970s.
The trio’s hot hues are Shadow Black with Green Stripes, Green Lime with Black Stripes and Twister Orange with Black Stripes. Inside, the first two configurations receive green accents on the seats while the latter gets orange interior accents. All colors get five split-spoke wheels, finished in ebony.
Customers can choose between fastback or convertible body styles and either the 10 speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission.
Mechanically, the Bold Edition doesn’t bring any changes or upgrades. It’ll still be powered by the 2020 Super Snake’s supercharged 5.0L V8, which cranks out 825 horsepower. That’s good for a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds.
Pricing hasn’t been announced for the package but you can figure it’ll be a few grand more than the Super Snake’s $123,295 price tag.
