Bentley customers looking for extra flair can dress up their vehicles with a new ‘Styling Specification’ package, adding on a slew of carbon fiber adornments. The kit is being made available on the Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Bentayga SUV. Included is a front bumper splitter, side skirts with metallic Bentley badges, a rear diffuser and a trunk lid spoiler all made in high gloss carbon fiber.
The brand says the same engineering team that created the carbon fiber pieces on the previous-generation Continental GT (including the GT3-R and Supersports models) and the Pikes Peak and Ice Race Continental GTs were responsible for developing the ‘Styling Specification’ components. For visual effect, all of the package’s carbon fiber features a pattern woven in the same direction and they’re all mirror-matched across the center of the car, too.
On the Bentayga, a few extra pieces are included. At the rear, a bi-plane tailgate spoiler is installed along with rear screen strakes. Customers can also select to add on front air blades, wing vents and mirror caps.
Side Skirt Detailing
The side skirts feature a three-dimensional electroformed Bentley badge that Bentley says was developed especially for the package. They state it reduces the risk of air bubbles forming in the lacquer overcoat but still remains visually striking.
Availability
Pricing for the Styling Specification hasn’t been announced but is available to order through Bentley dealerships. Not only can it be selected on new cars but the pieces can be added if a customer brings their vehicle back for the upgrades. While it isn’t offered on the new Flying Spur sedan, Bentley says that’ll be happening soon.
